Jessie is a South Florida native who moved to NJ to pursue her love of Musical Theatre. She started singing with her mom as a small child and began her formal singing and acting training at the age of 8, so she knows the importance of starting music at a young age. After receiving her professional training with a BFA in Musical Theatre, she has worked professionally in regional theatre throughout the country.
Jessie has extensive experience in children’s theatre and performed in the successful show, “Miss Nelson is Missing”, at Actors Playhouse, which was the 2004 National Children’s Theatre Festival winner. She also sang 60’s inspired rock and pop in the show “Cafe-Au-Go-Go” in Greenwich Village, which has come in handy in the band. Most recently, Jessie was a principal role in the New York City Off-Broadway show, “Tony and Tina’s Wedding“.

He spent several years touring with bands as a bass player and spent 9 years as a member of New Jersey based Latin-Rock band deSoL, and co-wrote their top ten singles, “Karma” and “Sing It All Night“. Finally, he discovered the great joy in sharing music with young people and has been teaching early childhood music for over 10 years. I’m from Freehold New Jersey. I’ve been singing for the past 10 years and I could never imagine dedicating myself to anything else. I love to share my voice whenever I get the chance whether it’s somewhere local or hours away. I have sung for Hurricane Sandy benefits and raised an amazing amount of money. I also sang the national anthem for the Blue Claws! However my biggest accomplishment was over the summer I was so blessed to have made it to the blind auditions of The Voice! I’m always trying out for new things so maybe one day my hard work will pay off! Little Rockers is the best job I could ask for. I get to sing all day and play with the cutest kids! It has brought me out of my shell and taught me, that no matter what age you are, that fun loving kid will always be inside you! I’m so thankful to be on the team with Little Rockers!
Hello Hey! I am most passionate about singing and theater. I started singing when I was only 3 years old. That was when I was in my first show! I have been a part of many community theater, children’s theater and school productions of musicals since then. I am currently studying to be an elementary school teacher while continuing to be involved with music as much as I can.

Deirdre began singing when she was very young, in choirs, an a capella group, and in many musical theater productions. She studied Theater and Studio Art at Stockton College. She is an award-winning singer-songwriter and recording artist. In 2012 she was awarded Top Female Songwriter at the Jersey Acoustic Music Awards. She has played at venues throughout NJ, PA & NY, including: The Stone Pony, The Bitter End, The Saint & the Legendary Dobbs. Deirdre has worked with artists of varying genres, lending her voice to several bands and recording projects, including the May Darlings, the duo that she plays in with Michael Brett! She loves that Little Rockers combines her two passions, teaching and music. It’s great to work with such talented teaching artists, and wonderful families!
Michael Brett is an award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist and multi-instrumentalist. He currently plays in the duo The May Darlings with fellow teaching artist Deirdre Forrest.
Michael’s first music teacher instilled a passion in him for playing, singing and writing at a young age. As a teaching artist with Little Rockers, Michael is amazed and inspired by the joy of being a part of a child’s introduction to music.
